This is a wonderful charger and the batteries do provide a good power. My favorite feature is the automatic dump to the bin after the batteries are charged; very cool.
Nice being able to see how much carbon waste I'm eliminating on the charger and the drop into storage after charge concept is brilliant and can't understand why any of the legacy battery companies never thought of this sooner. My one issue is with the first gen AAA battery sleeves, that don't fit right and make the drop down function more of a hassle than a convenience because you have to dig them out if you need to use the sleeves again I might add, are still sent with the more expensive deluxe bundle but the essentials bundle gets the new adapters. Considering sending this back and downgrading to the essentials just so I don't have to mess with the sleeves if I can't dedicate one of my old chargers for my AAA batteries if one of them that still works will charge one and not require inserting a pair like most do. ⁶
If you use batteries, and almost all of us do, this is a perfect way to always have fresh ones readily available.
Works great, the smart charger is the star here. Multi-chemistry support is admirable.
The AAA battery sleeves could be better, maybe a loose thread.
Also getting the cells to align just right in each slot without pushing on an adjacent cell can be a little finicky.
Great charging and battery storage system. Put the batteries in ,and when charged they drop in the storage bin. It does Nimh and Lion with automatic detection...no switches !
