Battery Safety, Compliance & Recycling Notice

(Applies to Linogy rechargeable Li‑ion AA/AAA portable batteries)​ ​

1. Safety & Handling

Use Linogy batteries only as directed. Do not short‑circuit, crush, incinerate, or expose to excessive heat. Keep away from children. Follow airline and carrier restrictions for lithium batteries.

2. EU/EEA & UK – Producer Responsibility

LINOGY INC provides recycling solution in line with applicable law (including Regulation (EU)2023/1542). We work through authorised national take‑back schemes and/or appointed authorised representatives.

We will publish local scheme details here as they become available.

Consumers may return used portable batteries to designated collection points (including participating retailers or municipal sites). Do not dispose of batteries in household waste.

3. United States – Recycling & State Programs

Linogy participates in implementing participation in nationwide and state‑level programs for recycling rechargeable batteries. Until our public drop‑off locator is published on this page, consumers should recycle through local municipal or retailer collection points that accept rechargeable batteries.

4. Labels & Information

Products intended for the EU/EEA/UK bear the required statutory labels (e.g., crossed‑out wheeled bins, capacity information for rechargeable portable batteries. Product documentation (EU Declaration of Conformity and technical file) is available to market surveillance authorities and distributors upon request.

5. Transport & Returns

Lithium‑ion batteries are regulated for transport. Do not mail batteries to Linogy without prior authorisation. Where mail‑back is legally permitted, we will provide approved packaging and instructions that meet DOT/IATA or other applicable rules.
